Asian Maine Lobster Cakes - the perfect starter

These Asian Maine Lobster Cakes are so delicious and can be used just like as a side for a holiday meal or they can be made a little smaller and used as an hors d'oeuvre. Oh so yummy.  This is a great alternative to crab cakes.  Something really special for your holiday party.   Yield: 6 portions INGREDIENTS 1 Egg ¼ cup Coconut milk
 1 Tbsp. Fresh ginger, minced fine
 ¼ cup Scallions, minced
 ¼ cup Cilantro, minced
 1 Tbsp. Sweet chili sauce
 1/8 tsp. Cayenne
 ½ tsp. Kosher salt
 ½ cup Carrs cracker crumbs, ground fine

A great holiday variation on a lobster boil

This is nice variation on a summer lobster boil with some complex flavors and undertones.  This will make a great recipe for the holidays.  This can be used for 2 lobsters or 12 lobsters.    INGREDIENTS 2 medium white onions, sliced into 1-inch rings 2 large carrots, sectioned and cut into thirds 3-6 celery root, cut into 1-inch cubes 4 sprigs fresh thyme 2 sprigs fresh rosemary 2 large bay leaf 1 1/2 bottle dry white wine 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns 2 tablespoons of Sea Salt Live lobsters, about 1 1/2 pounds each 1 pound unsalted butter, melted and clarified lemons, halved and de-seeded   DIRECTIONS Place onions, carrots, and celery root into a large stockpot. Lobster Bisque is Perfect for those cold winter nights.This is perfect New England Comfort Food.  After you have a lobster dinner party what to do with all the lobster shells - make a Maine Lobster Bisque.  This is the essence of yankee thrifty, and one of the best "leftover" meals you will have.  Cut up some crusty bread and enjoy your lobster bisque in front of a roaring fire.    INGREDIENTS Yield: 16 4 oz. portions
